Yeah there is some doubt. 3 redzone turnovers and a missed FG from "Mr. Automatic" is what it took to beat a team with no defense.

Not too impressive for a "dynasty team"

Pat: were you that 3-foot midget with the Gene Simmons mask on that I saw on tv?? I swear he reminds me of you ...

Charity details to you by Monday ... need to decide what branch I want to favour. The Canadian Cancer Society thanks you for your continued blind support of your team.

Oh by the way I played Pats over 23.5,Colts over 20.5, and game over 43.5.

And I really would have bet on the colts +3.5 BEFORE I bet on the Pats at -3.5...lol

Champions find a way to win even when outplayed.
Champions don't turn the ball over at crucial times.
Champions make the kicks at crucial times not 45-17 games.
Champions make defensive plays at crucial times (see Willie Mcginest)
Champions win even when NFL rules committe, referees and NFL marketing,Tony Dungee and Mike "No Mind" Martz are aginst them. And want touch football.

Question: Is there any doubt?

Answer: Yes. Allowing 202 yards rushing is not a winning recipe over the long haul. (The most they allowed in a single game last year was 116). The whole league saw the Colts running the football right through the middle of that line (where Ted Washington used to be) and there was nothing the Pats could do about it. This is not the team that won the Super Bowl last season.

I'll bet Bill Belichick was not happy after that game, regardless of the outcome.

What people don't understand it isn't the loss of Ted Was. but the loss of Bobby Hamilton..this guy was one thee most underated player in football.

Bought the halfpoint at Pinny for +3.5 and took the over 43.5, too.

Good start to the season.

Your run defence stunk up the joint last night, tho. Even Rhodes marched through those holes like buttah.

You're as blindly patriotic to your team as you are to your fearless leader. Tsk tsk, Pat, this will haunt you.

Oren...Luck is the residue of design.

X...The Pats lost opening game last year 31-0 to the Bills...Everybody asked where is the defense?
As anyone that knows anything know that the Pats defense gets toughr as the year goes on...Not to mention the fact that they were missing Kevin faulk and Troy Brown on offense.

how do you know I say buttah?

Yes and the would be champion Colts like John Forge Kerry is nothing but a paper champion.
True champs get it done on the field.

o.k. the Pats did have a great turnover ratio last year, and it continued last night. But 3 turnovers in the red zone? You have to admit they got a little bit lucky.

Patriot,

The score was worse then the game actually was. New England outrushed Buffalo 106-104 in that game but were -2 in turnovers, one which was returned by Sam Adams for a TD.

We understand you're a homer but try to be somewhat realistic. They did not look good in the pre-season and last night was kind of an uneven performance by the defending champs. I'd be concerned if I were you.
